The Tehran University Geophysical Institute’s calendar stated on Tuesday: On Sunday, September 7, 2025, the lunar eclipse will begin at 7:57 PM.
At 9:01 PM, the Earth’s shadow will completely cover the full moon, and the total lunar eclipse will begin. At 10:23 PM, the moon will begin to emerge from the shadow (penumbra), and the eclipse will end at 11:27 PM.
